The current series of the Malaysian Women Masters 2010 is on-going today and will go on till 2nd March 2010. Sixteen handpicked female chess candidates had been carefully selected based on a strict regime of selection criteria set by the Malaysian Chess Federation.Two rounds had been played today at the Dato’ Arthur Tan Chess Centre and a knock-out system will take place.
Tomorrow eight players will play two more rounds of classical chess and on Sunday four players, who get through to the next stage, will play two rounds to determine the final two contestants.

The winner will get the chance to represent Malaysia to the Chess Olympiad to be held in Siberia, Russia during the later part of this year, 2010.
