Malaysia-Singapore Chess Challenge - Dato' Tan Kim Yeow Challenge Trophy 2010

Latest News: Team Malaysia leads with 22 points against Singapore's 16 points after completion of Round 1 here at CITITEL EXPRESS Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. This is a biannual chess event between Malaysia and Singapore and the winner will get to hold the Dato' Tan Kim Yeow Chess Challenge Trophy for a year and probably the name of the country that wins will get engraved on the trophy. As at the time of updating, the second round of the chess challenge is ongoing with the score level at 2-2. Tomorrow, 17 February 2010, there will be two rounds of rapids held at the same venue to decide the winner of the trophy. For those that are interested, you may watch the chess action at the Perdana 1 and Perdana 2 of the CITITEL Express Hotel, located in the Chow Kit area along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur.
