1 January 2011, Kuala Lumpur – The Malaysia chess team triumphs in Singapore after drawing level 19-19 all in the final round 4 rapids of the Singapore-Malaysia Chess Challenge 2011 at the Stansfield Residence 1, Vernon Road, Singapore. This means Malaysia bring home the 3-0 winning lead and winning this year’s chess challenge 77.5-74.5 overall. Congratulations to team Malaysia!!!
With this win, Malaysia has finally avenged its loss in Kuala Lumpur and kept its critics at bay.
