Koneru Humpy’s 55th move 55.Qd6+ wins the black rook at b8, if black moves 55… Kg8. If black plays 55…Kf7, then 56. Re7+, which ever move black plays, 56…. Kg8, 57.Qxb8+.
At this point, Tatiana threw in the towel and gave Koneru the win and team Cercle d’Echecs de Monte Carlo a board point. Great win by Koneru with a strong position in the endgame.
