17 August 2010, Kuala Lumpur – The first stage of the InSoFar Elite Chess Tournament was held at the DATCC last Sunday, 15th August 2010 as planned and participated by 8 players.
The winner was Mohd Saprin Sabri, the top seeded player, with 6.5 points. Second was Muhd Syakir Shazmeer Azhar with 5.5 points and third, Muhd Irfan Haqqim Azhar with 5.0 points. The final results table are as shown below.
