Quah on SEA Games

18 November 2011, Kuala Lumpur – In TheStarOnline portal today, the chess column by Quah discusses about the on-going chess event in the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in Indonesia.

Imagine playing blindfold chess with no pieces on the board. That is exactly one has to endure playing in the blindfold chess event. As reported earlier on this blog, Malaysia won the bronze from the Mixed Team event with the stellar performance of both IM Lim Yee Weng and WFM Nur Najiha bt. Azman Hisham.

More chess events is on-going at SEA Games: Rapid (Men and Women), Blitz (Men and Women) and Standard (Men and Women).
