11 August 2013, Kuala Lumpur – GM Ma Qun overcomes GM Laxman of India on top board of round 3 during the IGB Malaysian Chess Open 2013 earlier today at the CitiTel Mid Valley Hotel. GM Ma Qun of China continues to accumulate another point, scoring 3 full points and is the top seed of the Malaysian Open.
The tournament is part of the Malaysian Chess Festival 2013 running from 9-19th August 2013.
