Indonesian Youngster Makes Waves at DYTM Raja Nazrin Shah International Open

21 Sep 2012, Kuala Lumpur – At the end of yesterday’s round 6 of the DYTM Raja Nazrin Shah International Open Chess Championship 2012 being held at the Olympic Sports Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, the top seed Tiviakov Sergei continues to lead on the leaderboard with five points.

However, Indonesian youngster, Azarya Jodi Setyaki, the pride of Djoni Chess, has scored five points after six rounds and is in equal first with the Netherlands top seed. The latest victim was one IM from India, Vishnu Prasanna V. This Indonesian junior is a former student of the Indonesia chess school nicknamed SCUA. Azarya has also scalped another titled chess player from Philippines, IM Ronald Dableo during round 5. He also beat WGM Padmini Rout of India in the earlier rounds.
