11 May 2011, Kuala Lumpur – Chessbase.com has issued a chess letter on recent events around the globe and it reports that finally, the time has come: next Friday, the World Championship Match between Viswanathan Anand and Boris Gelfand will begin in Moscow. Will Anand, who has won all world titles - in knock-out, tournament and match format - still be able to motivate himself?
"Anand is always motivated", knows his friend Hans-Walter Schmitt, who during the last World Champion matches was leading Anand's team and will do so again in Moscow.
However, Gelfand is also optimistic and declared: "I want to show my best chess because this match is the highlight and peak of my career."
