Shreyes Subramaniam Declared Tasik Damai 2012 Champion!

2 May 2012, Kuala Lumpur – In the one-day six round Swiss-System chess tournament at Sek. Keb. Tasik Damai, Ipoh, Perak, Shreyes Subramaniam was declared the Open Category Chess Champion 2012 with a score of 5 points. He beat 107 other open category players.

Another 103 participated in the Under-18 category and 108 players in the Under-12 category. A huge success for the organisers in terms of participation.
