Iskandar Johor Open Chess Tournament 2012

22 April 2012, Kuala Lumpur – A new tournament will be held in Johor Bahru on the 20th May 2012. It will be held in GIANT Tampoi, Jalan Skudai, Johor Bahru and organised jointly by Johor Youth & Sports Dept and JB Chess Association.

Details of the Iskandar Johor Open Chess Tournament 2012 follows:-

Organisers   :  Johor Youth & Sports Department and JB Chess Association.

Venue          :  Giant Tampoi , Jalan Skudai, JB

Date & Time :  Sunday - 20th May 2012 from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm

Time Control :  Swiss System of 7 rounds with 20 minutes per player

                       to complete the game

Categories   :  3 categories namely, Open, Under 17 & Under 12

Entry fees    :  Open        : RM40.00

                      Under 17  :  RM15.00

                      Under 12  :  RM13.00

Closing Date : 17th  May 2012
