14 August 2012, Kuala Lumpur – Last Saturday, the Battle Chess Selangorku tournament was held in Shah Alam’s local library, Raja Tun Uda Library, Section 14, Selangor, and IM Nolte Rolando of the Philippines won with a score of 7.5 points. Second was Ian Udani with 7.0 points, third, FM Ronnie Lim Chuin Hoong, also with 7.0 points, fourth, Jax Tham Tick Hong, also scored 7.0 points.

Meanwhile in the Under-17 category was won by Shreyes Subramaniam with a score of 6.0 points. Second was Muhd Irfan Haqqim Azhar with 6.0 points too. Third, Mohd Faizal Roslan with 5.5 points.

Meanwhile in the U-12 category was won by Puteri Rifqah Fahada bt Azhar with 6.5 points and in second place was younger sister, Puteri Munajjah bt Azhar with 6.0 points. Third, Amir Ghaazi Mohd Saprin with 5.5 points.
