11 August 2012, Kuala Lumpur – It has been a tremendous Olympics for Malaysia so far as we now have one silver and one bronze medal from this year’s London Olympics 2012, the silver, from Datuk Lee Chong Wei in badminton and the bronze from Pandelal Rinong Pamg in 10m diving.

It is the first time for Malaysia that a female athlete has contributed a medal and it is outside of badminton. In the finals, Pandela Rinong PAMG earned scores of 58.50, 78.30, 64.0, 81.60 and 76.8 totalling 359.20 points just edging fourth place Australian, Melissa Wu who scored 358.10 points.
