Nur Nabila’s Two Games, NC 2011

20th March 2011, Kuala Lumpur – The newly crowned Woman National Master WNM WCM Nur Nabila bt Azman Hisham receiving her champion’s certificate from Vice-President, Haslindah bt. Ruslan and her prize money for winning the National Closed 2011 held from 16-20th March 2011.

It was announced that the top eight from the women’s category in National Closed 2011 including no. 9, Tan Kar Khei, has been shortlisted for the National chess team and the nine of them will be undergoing a selection trials for the final six members of the chess team to the bi-annual SEA Games in Indonesia sometime this year.

Here are two games played by Nur Nabila during the National Closed Chess Championship 2011 against two strong lady players. One is Puteri Rifqah Fahada bt Azhar in round 5 and the other against last year’s National Closed champion, WCM Fong Mi Yen.
