5 March 2011, Kuala Lumpur – At Excel Chess Academy, the 10th round of the Excel FIDE-Rated Tournament Feb.-March 2011 was held today. Jax Tham (left)met Azam (right) and was stopped by Azam which resulted in an amazing win for Azam. Jax Tham is now at 8.5 points and Azam is in second place with 8 points from 10 rounds of play.
In joint third are Bernard and Puteri Rifqah at 7.5 points each. Alone at 6 points is Chia, fifth ranked at the moment.
