News of US Chess League 2010, Week 7

9 October 2010, Kuala Lumpur – The US Chess League has entered its week 7, three weeks to the final week 10.

Here is the latest results of week 7 and subsequent week’s schedule of team pairings for US Chess League 2010.

Standings of the Western and Eastern Division teams:-

For Eastern Division, New England and Boston are near the top two teams with 6.5 and 5.0 points respectively, while Arizona and Chicago head the Western Division for 2010  US Chess League with 5.0 and 4.5 points respectively.

Larry Christiansen Beats Shankland In League Game

16 September 2010, Kuala Lumpur – On the Internet Chess Club (ICC), the US Chess League 2010 match between New England against Boston is shown live. On board 1 Larry Christiansen, writer of the Storming The Barricades, won his game against IM Shankland of New England Nor’easters. Larry plays for the Boston Blitz chess team and is playing white on board 1.
