9 July 2013, Kuala Lumpur - Last weekend in Kuala Selangor the KUSESS Chess Tournament 2013 was held over two days, 6-7 July 2013. Nur Najiha bt Azman Hisham of Selangor won the U-18 category with 7.5 points beating 201 other players from eight states (Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Sabah, Kedah, Perak, Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu). Elder sister, Nur Nabila bt Azman Hisham of Selangor came in a close second with the same high score of 7.5 points.
Meanwhile Teh De Juan of Penang won with 7.5 points beating 126 other players in the U-12 age category. Only two states participated in this category, namely Selangor and Penang.
