12 July 2010, Beijing – The Malaysian Chess Federation has sent a team of young talented chess players to enter this year’s Asian Youth Chess Championship 2010 being held in Beijing, China from the 9-14th July 2010.
The results up to round 5 of the tournament for the Malaysian players are as follows:

Our best results so far are coming from the Girls Under-12 where two of our Malaysian girls, WFM Nur Najiha bt. Azman Hisham and Camilia bt Johari have scored 3.5/5.0 up to the fifth round of play.
Let’s hope our young team of chess warriors will do better in the last few rounds of the Asian Youth Chess Championship 2010.
