Capel, Yit San Jointly Wins PACU Chess Open 2012

30 Dec 2012, Kuala Lumpur – The PACU Chess Open 2012 held in Sg Petani, Kedah was jointly won by Even Timothy Capel of Penang and Fong Yit San of Perak when they both scored 6 points and identical tie-break points. The tournament was held at the Community College, Sg Petani just by the Sg Petani Selatan Toll Plaza yesterday, 29 December 2012.

Third, Lim Chuin Kai, fourth, Amri Ibni Hajar, fifth, Lim Kian Hwa, sixth Wong Yinn Long and seventh, Lim Wei Sheng. All winners from 3rd-7th, all scored 5.5 poinths but separated by tie-break points.

Reminder - PACU Chess Open 2012

27 Dec 2012, Kuala Lumpur – The organisers of the upcoming PACU Chess Open 2012 in Sungai Petani, Kedah are recommending to players that have registered for the now postponed Kelantan Open 2012 to now opt or consider to join the Kedah’s PACU Chess Open 2012. It is a one-day tournament with 7 rapid rounds of play.

Reminders to all those interested or considering to enter PACU Chess Open 2012, the Closing date is today, 27 Disember 2012. The chess tournament will be held on the 29 December 2012 in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

14 Dec 2012, Kuala Lumpur –Latest News: the Pusat Akademi Catur Utara(PACU) is organising the PACU OPEN CHESS EVENT 2012 on 29/Dec/2012(Saturday). The tournament will be held at the Banquet Hall, Community College, Sg. Petani, Kedah.
