Anand’s Game In German Chess League 2012

17 March 2012, Kuala Lumpur – Here is a live game between the current world champion, GM Anand Viswanathan playing for OSG Baden-Baden against GM Eljanov Pavel of Werder Bremen in the German Chess League 2012.

The Schachbundesliga 2011-12 takes place 14th October 2011 - 15th April 2011. The German event is the world's premier national team competition 15 rounds with possible tie-breaks 27th-29th April 2012.

Team OSG Baden-Baden is the number one ranked team and Werder Bremen is currently the number two top chess chess team in the German Chess League. OSG Baden-Baden has 20 MPs and Werder Bremen, 19 MPs.

Germany’s Chess League – OSG Baden Baden Leads

25 Feb 2012, Kuala Lumpur – In Germany, TWIC reported that the 10th and 11th round of the Schachbundesliga take place 25th and 26th of February 2012. Venues Wattenscheid, Hockenheim, Trier and Remagen.

In Wattenscheid the host awaits Dortmund, Muelheim and Katernberg for the four matches of the weekend. All teams are situated in the Ruhr area of Germany, so many spectators are expected to visit the games. While three of the teams are ranked in the midfield of the table Dortmund is fighting against relegation.

Here is a game between Russian Efimenko Zahar of Werder Bremen chess team against Swedish, Berg Emanuel of SC Hansa Dortmund during the fourth round of Germany’s Chess League, Schachbundesliga 2011-12. Efimenko playing white won the game with two pawns and a rook against black’s lonely rook.

OSG Baden-Baden Wins 9th Round, German Chess League

7 February 2011, Kuala Lumpur – At the German Chess League, the Bundesliga 2010/2011, the top chess team OSG Baden-Baden beat FC Bayer Munchen, 7.5:0.5 in the 9th round match held on Sunday, 6 February 2011.  The German Chess League has over 270 players from 30 countries play for 16 teams in the highest German chess league.
