6th June 2014, Kuala Lumpur – The Malaysian Chess Festival 2014 is coming. The chess festival will begin on 12th September and lasts till 22nd September 2014. The first part will entail the team events on 12-13th ASTRO Rapid Team Chess Championship 2014, 14th September 2014 – the 5th SWENSEN’s Age-Group Chess Championship 2014, 14th-21st September 2014 – simultaneously 11th IGB Dato’ Arthur Tan International Open Chess Championship 2014, 5th KLK Tan Sri Lee Loy Seng International Seniors Open Chess Championship and 9th AMBANK Malaysia Chess Challenge 2014. The venue of the tournaments will be held at the usual CitiTel MidValley Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
