IT’S TIME FOR THE AMATEURS TO SHINE!!! This weekend event is catered especially for those who are UNRATED or have a National Rating of below 1600 only. Special prizes are allocated for Boys and Girls who are in the U16/U12/U8 age bracket in addition to the top 6 main prizes offered.
The single day 7 Round Swiss event offers cash prizes for the top six category winners with RM250 allocated for the Overall event Champion. Other cash prizes up for grabs are for the 3 top under-1400 players, best unrated, best veteran and best lady players.
For the best Boys and Girls in the U16, U12 and U8 age bracket, each top performer will earn a medal and certificate for their effort. As usual, two special prizes are allocated for DATCC Members top performers. Entries are limited to 80 players. There is no closing date but entries received on event day MAY NOT be entertained as it will depend on space/seats availability.
