2 November 2010, Kepong – Low Jun Jian has emerged as the champion of the recently concluded 16th Kepong Juniors Open Chess Championship for the Under-18 age group held on the 31st October 2010, Sunday. He garnered 6.0 points from 6 rounds of play. He beat 19 other players to finish top. Low Jun Jian is a chess player that participates in most local chess tournaments that he can find.
